As such, there is no way they would wear a 2" belt when a 1/2" wide would do just as well - and you could make 3 more from the same amount of leather.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12669467538828528523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17881835.post-55603980881213874552015-09-08T23:30:55.059-07:002015-09-08T23:30:55.059-07:00Thanks for making the effort to describe the termi...Thanks for making the effort to describe the terminlogy to the beginners!

Buy Gents Leather BeltsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08106030265354452325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17881835.post-21831415183141707042014-06-13T14:49:07.684-07:002014-06-13T14:49:07.684-07:00Yes you had ;-). AD) - a similiar pair of trousers was found in Damendorf, and a later find (around 10th c) from Skjodelhamn but wouthout the belt-loops as far as I know.

But you are right - this are not really relevant to the 16th century trousers at all. But it is nice to know details like that I guess... At any rate, that style wasn't worn in the Tudor period so I didn't really find them relevant to my research. Though I suppose I did say that holding up your trousers with a belt was a relatively recent innovation... I suppose I had my 16th century blinders on.Eternal Apprenticehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17970817049875891713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17881835.post-79404289276590301432014-04-10T16:23:40.572-07:002014-04-10T16:23:40.572-07:00This is a great blog!
